Instagram launches new control tools

Instagram Introduces New Control Tools: CEO Announcement

Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram, officially announced new control tools through his account on the social network.

In a short and direct video, Mosseri explained that now you will be able to access a special bar to see how much you interact with your followers.

New Control Tools:

Accounts you interact with the least:

Access this option to unfollow users or content creators with whom you interact little or not at all.
Instagram will filter these users into a single list to make it easier to manage your followers.
Accounts most shown in the feed:

Filter the accounts you’ve viewed the most in your feed over the last 90 days.
GIFs in Instagram Comments:

In addition to the new control tools, Instagram is testing the possibility of including GIFs in comments. Mosseri announced: “If you are in the test, you will see the GIF icon to the right of the text box. From there you can search/choose a GIF.”

If you do not want to miss any news, updates or news from Facebook or Instagram, we invite you to visit the official Meta newsroom.
